Zyxel Networks, a leader in delivering secure, AI-powered cloud networking solutions, has announced the launch of its USG LITE 60AX –an AX6000 WiFi 6 security router – an all-in-one unified security gateway appliance designed for small to medium businesses (SMBs), teleworkers and managed service providers (MSPs).
Providing uncompromising, subscription-free protection against online threats, fast WiFi connectivity and effortless cloud management, the USG LITE 60AX also sets an industry-leading standard for eco-friendliness, with a casing that is 95%-made from post-consumer recycled (PCR) plastic. This delivers an 81% reduction in CO2 emissions compared to ABS plastic. Zyxel Networks has also used 100% halogen-free, soy-based inks in all packaging and with a 40% reduction in the volume of packaging used, shipment is made easier, meaning less waste and supporting businesses in achieving their sustainability goals.

The USG LITE 60AX joins an extensive range of more than 100 Zyxel Networks devices that can now be monitored and managed via Nebula – Zyxel Networks’ cloud management platform. This allows MSPs and customers to manage multiple networks and devices remotely through a central console, which can be accessed on any desktop or mobile device.
Nebula comes with multiple time-saving features and makes use of artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning (ML) technology to continually enhance protection on all connected devices, keeping their networks secure, and making troubleshooting easier.
The USG LITE 60AX is the latest addition to Zyxel Networks’ growing family of Nebula-enabled devices that work together to deliver comprehensive protection and performance with unrivalled usability and affordability.
Subscription-free security
The USG LITE 60AX gives small businesses peace of mind thanks to its subscription-free, threat management capabilities. This in-built offering protects organizations against common cyberthreats such as ransomware and malware, as well as other intrusions. Network administrators can also easily configure VPNs, patrol applications, implement VLANs, and gain comprehensive threat insights through a graphical security dashboard on Nebula. The device delivers up to 2Gbps throughput even when advanced threat and application management features are enabled.
Unlocking high performance
The quad-core 64-bit CPU and dual 2.5G WAN and LAN ports of the USG LITE 60AX ensure sufficient computing power and multi-gig bandwidth capacity for businesses without throttling performance.
Equipped with WiFi 6 AX6000, it delivers up to 6Gbps of WiFi speed with support for 160MHz channels. The support of Zyxel Networks’ exclusive Smart Mesh technology enables users to seamlessly connect the USG LITE 60AX with Nebula-compatible access points to expand wireless coverage while removing complex cabling.
Effortless cloud management
Designed and built from the outset to be managed via the cloud, the USG LITE 60AX can be monitored through Zyxel Networks’ Nebula cloud platform, alongside more than 100 types of networking devices. This provides users with centralized management and configuration. Recent updates to Nebula include cloud stacking support for XGS2220 switches, smoother configuration transitions, and a new bulk-site creation feature for MSPs.
