The expanded ZCNE training program will help bridge networking skills gaps for channel partners and power users.
Zyxel Networks, a leader in delivering secure, AI-powered cloud networking solutions, is expanding its Zyxel Certified Network Engineer (ZCNE) training program by introducing four new vertical-specific courses. These additions to the program are tailored for professional users in the HoReCa (hotels, restaurants, cafes) and education industries, as well as those providing managed services and power users seeking advanced network knowledge.
For small and medium-sized businesses (SMBs), staff training and continued skill development are ongoing challenges. In response to growing demand from channel partners, the new ZCNE Vertical Solution courses will equip network engineers with the knowledge to overcome complex network challenges, addressing the specific needs of industry professionals and bridging the skills gap in networking management.
Accessible online courses with industry know-how
The new ZCNE Vertical Solution courses have been designed for professional network engineers seeking advanced skills tailored to specific industries. This includes four specialized courses, HoReCa, Edu, MSP, and Elite courses*. Each take approximately two hours to complete and comprise five to six modules.
Based on Zyxel’s Nebula cloud networking solution, the courses cover a wide range of topics, including how to set up an IPTV network, accessing wireless health, using a VPN orchestrator, implementing site-to-site VPN with Microsoft Azure, stacking, and more. These advanced courses are recommended for those who have completed ZCNE Level 1 and 2 courses. Each course is conducted in English and can be completed entirely online.
Since its inception in 2022, the ZCNE training program has provided more than 120 online and offline courses to thousands of partners and users aiming to enhance their skills in networking technology.
“Expanding our ZCNE training program with these new vertical solution courses underscores our commitment to supporting partners and users in their professional growth,” said Mr. Glavine Liu, Senior Director of Customer Service and Quality Management Division at Zyxel Networks. “These courses are designed to provide specialized training for partners to address unique networking challenges and increase their professional standing among end customers.”
Those who complete the course and pass the test will receive certificates that are valid for two years, which can then be added to their CVs and LinkedIn profiles, as well as included on company pages, or displayed in offices. This not only improves users’ career prospects, but also opens the door for potential new business opportunities.
While each course costs €199, Zyxel Networks will celebrate the launch by running a campaign offering select modules free-of-charge for early registrants. Participants who complete their course and share their experience on the Zyxel Community portal will also have a chance to win full courses. Further information about the ZCNE training program can be found by visiting the Zyxel Education Center.
