Zyxel Networks partners with the Zyxel Foundation to donate network equipment to 33 charities across Taiwan.
Zyxel Networks, a leader in delivering secure and cloud-powered networking solutions, has once again partnered with the Zyxel Foundation to donate networking products to 33 charities across Taiwan. Supporting the charities with secure and reliable networks, Zyxel Networks is committed to being a trusted partner for the local community, helping them enhance social services and accelerate their digital transformation to help more in need.
In celebration of Zyxel’s 35th anniversary, the Zyxel Foundation and Zyxel Networks make giving back a habit in Zyxel’s culture by encouraging employees to volunteer. Aside from donating products, employees also contributed their time and expertise to support the network setup on-site for the charities, ensuring their ongoing operational needs are met.
This year, Zyxel Networks donated networking products to 33 organizations, including the Boyo Social Welfare Foundation, Hondao Senior Citizens Welfare Foundation, and The Garden of Hope Foundation. Notably, this marks the first time Zyxel Networks has extended its donations to Taiwan’s offshore island of Lanyu, supporting the Lan En Cultural and Educational Foundation and further extending help to the much underserved area.
Since 2022, Zyxel has donated more than 1,000 networking devices, benefiting over 100 charities across Taiwan. These contributions have helped improve digital infrastructure, allowing organizations to enjoy stable and reliable internet connectivity.
Yuheng Li, director of the Boyo Social Welfare Foundation's Zhudong Branch, expressed gratitude for the donations. "At Boyo, we focus on closing the education resource gap, especially by providing free after-school tutoring for disadvantaged children in rural areas. Unreliable internet frequently interrupted our classes, requiring us to reset devices or call for remote assistance. Thanks to Zyxel Networks' help, we now have a more stable network environment, which allows us to offer a better learning experience and serve as a stronger support system for these children."
Shih-Chun Chen, head of IT at the Boyo Foundation, also highlighted the benefits of Zyxel Networks’ Nebula Cloud Management platform, which has allowed the organization to remotely manage network equipment at various locations across Taiwan. This has significantly reduced maintenance time and costs, improving operational efficiency within the foundation.
Chen Bo-Ju, director of Chang’an Elderly Care Center, shared her experience. "For an elderly care facility providing 24-hour service, stable internet is crucial. Previously, we often encountered unstable connections and slow speeds. With the new equipment, work efficiency has greatly improved, and communication between residents and their families via video calls is now much smoother."

Denise Lin, Chief Sustainability Officer of the Zyxel Group, concluded: "Through this experience, our employee volunteers not only applied their networking expertise, but also truly engaged with the community. From site assessments and network design to actual installation, and funding support by Zyxel Foundation, we addressed the technology and infrastructure challenges faced by these organizations. This project has significantly improved the operational efficiency of the social welfare groups. Going forward, we will continue launching similar initiatives that make a positive impact to the people and community, and doing good for the world."
