Zyxel Networks, a leader in delivering secure and AI-powered cloud networking solutions, is delighted to announce that its USG FLEX 50HP has been named Security Hardware of the Year in the PC PRO Technology Excellence Awards.
The USG FLEX 50HP is a cybersecurity appliance designed to provide exceptional all-round protection for small- and medium-sized businesses. Now in their 28th year, the PC PRO Technology Excellence Awards are seen as the supreme accolade for product excellence. Winners of the product awards are chosen by expert editorial team, who select only the most outstanding products from the hundreds tested and reviewed by the magazine and its sister titles throughout the year.
Kevin Drinkall, Senior Director, Marketing & GTM Strategy EMEA, Zyxel Networks, stated: “To win an award that’s been voted for by such experienced and knowledgeable reviewers is a great achievement. It is testament to the skill and dedication that has gone into the design and development of the USG FLEX 50HP cybersecurity appliance and the entire USG FLEX H range – especially considering the sheer number of products reviewed. To be hailed as the standout winner in our category is just fantastic. We are delighted to have received this recognition from what we believe is the most respected platform for product reviews, amongst both SMB decision makers and technicians.”
The USG FLEX 50HP appliance comes with a full feature set that provides excellent protection from all kinds of threats and attacks, plus the ability to configure security to meet specific requirements. Launched in April 2025, Zyxel Networks’ upgraded USG FLEX H series appliances provide SMBs and MSPs with an easier and more consistent way to manage security, along with built-in unified threat management and fast performance.
All USG FLEX H firewalls can be managed remotely through Zyxel Networks’ Nebula cloud platform and with the unique Smart Sync feature, changes made through Nebula and on-premises using web tools are synchronized automatically. This saves time and ensures consistent operations across the network.
The PC PRO Awards 2025 were presented earlier this week at a special lunch event in central London.
