Latest release of Nebula cloud management platform makes it easier to configure and manage multiple tenant locations, allowing partners to take more business opportunities.
Zyxel Networks, a leader in delivering secure and AI-powered cloud networking solutions, is making it easier for MSPs to scale up and grow their business with a series of enhancements to its Nebula cloud management platform.
The updates provide new capabilities to replicate site configurations, reducing the time it takes to set up new locations from several hours to minutes. An extended dashboard gives MSPs greater visibility across multiple sites, and additional security features help reduce the risk of unauthorised individuals gaining access to network settings. The new features are available immediately to all partners that use Zyxel Networks’ Nebula to provide managed network and security monitoring services to their customers.
Kevin Drinkall, Senior Director, Marketing and GTM Strategy EMEA, Zyxel Networks, stated: “Thousands of MSP partners across EMEA are using Nebula as the central pillar of their managed services value proposition and as they grow and develop, being able to do more with the same resources is the key challenge they face. The enhanced capabilities of Nebula will enable MSPs to optimise efficiency, take more opportunities, and deliver higher levels of service. They also make Nebula an even better tool for managing customers who need consistency across all locations for compliancy requirements and to minimise risk.”
Additionally, the new features strengthen the hand of MSPs addressing the SMB market, said Drinkall. “SMB is now the fastest-growing sector of the managed services market and with the new cross-site replication, support for team management, consolidated dashboard view, and other new features of Nebula, Zyxel Networks’ partners are even better-placed to take full advantage of this huge growth opportunity.”
Key new features of Nebula release 19.30 include:
· Configuration templates that MSPs can use to synchronise set-ups across multiple sites of a single customer organisation, with future changes mirrored automatically.
· Full-site replication allows the MSP to clone its ‘best practice’ settings or the settings of an existing site to a new location instantly, potentially saving hours or even days going through a complex manual onboarding process.
· Updated backup and restore capabilities enable multiple sites to be copied in bulk, automated scheduling, and quick restores or rollbacks.
· A refreshed central MSP dashboard now displays customer organisation, site, and device status in a single view, giving partners complete cross-tenant oversight.
· Consolidated overview of device and license inventories across all customers.
· Organisation-level change logs provide detailed chronological records that track who made what changes and when, supporting compliance and audit needs and enabling faster troubleshooting.
· Role-based access control allows access privileges to be assigned according to staff roles using Nebula’s Admins & Teams feature.
· Instant onboarding and offboarding means that new staff can instantly be given inherited, predefined access and leavers can be removed in a single step.
· Customer grouping means MSPs can now organise customers with similar requirements to provide consistency and reduce administrative overhead.
More than 100 Zyxel Networks products – including WiFi 7 access points and unified security gateways – can now be configured and managed through the Nebula platform, providing MSPs with a significant opportunity to extend their opportunities and grow both product and services sales. They include the latest upgraded version of the popular USG LITE 60AX Security Router, which now features Dual-WAN for network failover, along with a comprehensive security suite, providing smaller businesses with a budget-friendly, all-in-one solution.
